July of 09, Brian Hahl (Pinz712m) of Stockertown, PA died of a sudden heart attack while riding his bicycle. He was only 50 years old.
Brian saved for many years to buy his 712 Pinzgauer and he finally got the one he wanted. His first long drive in it was the 2006 East Coast Convoy. He loved his vehicle and the many friends that came along with the hobby.
Brian was a science teacher, an avid cyclist, and speed skater. He spent many hours of his time donating to cancer causes. He was truly a giving person and a pleasure to be around.
I cannot say enough nice things about Brian. He became my friend and my military vehicle show partner. We always had a blast at Aberdeen, Gilbert and the MTA shows.
Brian, you will be greatly missed.

- Brian and I were really starting to become good friends when we started seeing each other more and more at the MV events. We would hang around the camp fire at Sussex, NJ MTA meet over a few beers and that's how our friend ship started. Even at Aberdeen Brian was hanging around our camp more and more and really liked our breakfast in the AM. He was always a joy to be around. My son Nick remembers the time Brian took a bunch of us to the EC convoy BBQ last year in the Pinz that Nick will never forget that. What a cool ride that was.
At Aberdeen........I handed over my pass key to our Hotel room with out a second thought so he could take a shower..........He was so GREATFULL.......
Brian.........You will be in our hearts and your family will be in our prays....I'm SO Sorry..........!!!!!!!!!!
