Convoy Communications Frequencies
FRS
FRS Primary: Ch 4 (462.6375 Mhz)
FRS Secondary: Ch 6 (462.6875 Mhz)
The Main Convoy Frequency will be FRS CH 4 (462.6375). Once we are grouped
up and in route, we all need to operate on this frequency. This is necessary
so we can hear if the rear of the convoy got snagged by red traffic lights
or someone has mechanical trouble. You must have any "Privacy Codes" turned OFF on your FRS radio for you to hear other convoy members. Please read your instruction manual now on how to perform this function.Convoy will also be using the below communication devices as well:
Military and Ham Radio Frequencies
- Primary 6 Meter: 50.300 Mhz
- Secondary 6 Meter: 50.600 Mhz
Note; You must be a Licensed Ham Radio Operator to use these Frequencies.
Other Ham Frequencies
- 10 Meters 28.400 Mhz (FM)
- 2 Meters 146.45 Mhz (FM)
CB Radio
- Primary CH 12 (27.105 Mhz)
- Secondary CH 15 (27.135 Mhz)
The Convoy Commander will have his CB, PRC77, and Cell Phone on during the
Convoy.
